The service

Bulkoa computes sports-nutrition guidelines, generates meal plans and shopping lists from your answers, takes into account what you have already bought, tracks your weight and offers a training programme. Bulkoa is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis or treatment.

Health and safety

The app's guidelines are general and designed for healthy adults. See a health professional before changing your diet or physical activity, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, ill, under treatment, have an eating disorder or an injury.

You remain responsible for what you eat and how you train: check labels (composition varies by brand), adapt loads to your level, warm up and stop if anything hurts.

Account and age

You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. One account per person. At sign-up you accept these terms and the privacy policy, and you separately consent to the processing of your health data; the date and version accepted are kept.

Subscription and prices

Bulkoa runs on a subscription, with no ads. The questionnaire and the first plan preview are available without an account.
Two plans as Apple in-app purchases: €4.99 per month or €34.99 per year, prices including taxes for France. Prices are shown in the app before any purchase, in your App Store's currency.
7-day free trial. After that, the subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your iPhone Settings (your name → Subscriptions). We remind you the day before the trial ends.
Payments, invoices and refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in Settings first.
Without an active subscription, the app stays available to export your data, sign out or delete your account.
During the preview, everything is unlocked for free and no purchase is possible.

Right of withdrawal

Digital content is supplied as soon as you subscribe. By subscribing, you ask for access to start immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once access has started, under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. The 7-day free trial lets you try everything before paying, and refund requests remain possible with Apple.

Content and ownership

Bulkoa's recipes, texts, programmes, illustrations and interface are protected works. Nutritional data comes from the Ciqual table (ANSES, Etalab 2.0 licence). Your data stays yours: you can export and delete it at any time.

Liability

The publisher undertakes to provide a careful, up-to-date service (obligation of means). Prices are estimates and results (weight, muscle gain) depend on each person: they are not guaranteed. The publisher is not liable for consequences of use contrary to these terms, inaccurate information you entered, an unchecked label or medical advice not sought.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, nor the publisher's liability for bodily injury caused by its fault or for gross negligence.

Availability

The service may be interrupted for maintenance or updates. Your plan and shopping list stay available offline on your iPhone.

Friends

Sharing with friends is optional and off by default. You choose what your friends see; nothing is visible to anyone other than your accepted friends. There are no messages or comments: only three reactions (👏 💪 🔥).

You agree to respect others: no harassment, no fake accounts, no inappropriate content in your display name. You can block someone (they no longer see anything of yours and are not notified) and report a person or content from the app; the publisher reviews reports within 24 hours and may remove content, turn off sharing or close an account in case of breach.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app. The publisher may close an account in case of abusive or fraudulent use, after informing you.

Changes

If these terms change significantly, you will be told in the app and asked to accept them again.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, first write to support@bulkoa.app to find an amicable solution. You can then use the consumer mediator free of charge, currently being appointed: its name and website will be given here. Failing agreement, the courts designated by law have jurisdiction.
